True Colours Play Therapy is run by Imelda Byrne and based in Huntstown Community Centre. Imelda is registered with Play Therapy Ireland and has been practicing Play Therapy Since 2019, mainly based in Primary Schools in Dublin 15.

Imelda has worked in various Teaching roles in Primary Schools since 2017, as a Special Education teacher & Autism Class Teacher. Imelda has previously worked in Preschool, and is also qualified in Early Childhood - Teaching & Learning.

Imelda is very passionate about Supporting Children to help improve their emotional wellbeing, by observing, assessing, teaching and supporting Children in communicating their needs through play.

Imelda works closely with teachers and parents to identify their concerns and help support the children overcome these in a therapeutic space.
